Kültür Educational Foundation (KEV) was established in 1986 by the Akıngüç family, having initiated private education in the 1930s, to strengthen the support for education and to increase the number of scholarships awarded to successful students with limited opportunities. The foundation was established with the aim of contributing to the development of Kültür Schools, raising the quality of education above international standards, making this service better and more widespread, engaging in educational activities, contributing to the Turkish national education and culture and to the social and economic development of our country. In the most foundational sense, the purpose of the Kültür Educational Foundation is to serve in the education of Turkish youth. 

The educational grants and discount opportunities offered by the Foundation have contributed and still contribute to the raising up of many athletes, painters, musicians and scientists.
