Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) proudly celebrated the graduation of nearly two thousand students at its 2024-2025 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony. At the ceremony held in four sessions on July 10-11, 2025, at Yahya Kemal Beyatlı Performance Center, students graduating from eight faculties and two vocational schools celebrated their graduation by throwing their caps. With this year’s graduates, the total number of the graduates of our university exceeded 39 thousand.

Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) 2025 Graduation Ball was hosted at Portaxe Baltalimani on Tuesday, July 8. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Gülce Öğrüç Ildız and Prof. Dr. Burcu Yavuz Tiftikçigil, along with members of the IKUMED Board of Directors, accompanied our students at the celebration. Following the cutting of the graduation cake, our graduates enjoyed the night to the fullest with a lively DJ Performance.

Placing sustainable development goals at the center of its institutional policies, Istanbul Kültür University has published its reports as part of the activities it carried out throughout 2024, which have made concrete contributions to the following:

At the 2024–2025 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony of the T.R. Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Institute of Graduate Studies of six of our master’s students from the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics experienced the joy of graduation.

The opening speeches of the ceremony, which took place on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, in the Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center at the Bakırköy Campus, Ataköy building, were delivered by the Chair of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver, our Rector Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe, and the Director of the Graduate Studies Institute, Prof. Dr. Nebile Korucu-Gümüşoğlu. Our graduates from the Master’s Program in Molecular Biology and Genetics received their diplomas from Prof. Dr. Seyhan Altun, marking this special day in a meaningful way. We congratulate our graduates, who have taken an important step on the path of scientific research and academic development, and wish them continued success.

Istanbul Kültür University will host the event titled “Beyond Borders: From Vision to Impact – Sharing Inspiring Global Projects Stories,” where inspiring project experiences will be shared.

Organized by the IKU Technology Transfer Office, the event, which will focus on successfully carried out project stories at national and international levels, will be held in a hybrid format on Monday, July 14 at 10:00 a.m. at the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus.

The international conference titled "International Conference on Interactions Between Tradition & Modernity in Architecture and Design," to be hosted by our university under the organization of the Department of Architecture, will be held as part of the TraMod Academy Design Competition. The event, featuring Dr. Javad Eiraji from TraMod Academy as a speaker, will take place on July 17-18 between 09:00 and 17:00 in the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall at the Bakırköy Campus, Ataköy building.
